Abersoch occupies a sunny position on the south east side of the Llyn Peninsula and nestles between 2 headlands. The bay has picturesque views of St. Tudwal's Islands and the sweeping mountain ranges of Snowdonia, the Moelwyns and the Rhinogs as a backdrop. There are miles of safe sandy beaches in the area - in fact there can hardly be a more idyllic coastal setting.
There are all types of activities to suit everyone, from relaxing breaks to an energetic outdoor holiday. The safe sandy beaches, ease of access and easy launching facilities make Abersoch the unrivalled venue for all kinds of water sports - recreational and competitive sailing, windsurfing, water skiing and wakeboarding are all catered for. Off the water there is a challenging 18-hole golf course, pony trekking, shooting and archery, mountain biking, quad biking and walking.



The area abounds in a wealth of natural history - with miles of Heritage Coastline and many SSI sites. The Llyn is rich in natural geological and geographical features as well as important historical sites, which will reward the adventurous explorers and walkers. There are regular boat trips to the islands of St Tudwals and Bardsey, giving you plenty of chance to enjoy the stunning scenery and wildlife.
The village of Abersoch, though small, has a well-balanced and interesting variety of shops, including a craft centre offering designer jewellery, an artists studio, and Turtle photography's gallery. There is also a good selection of restaurants and pubs.
